Elementary Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for this Monday, March 24th. Students in grades PreK-5th grades are not in school on Monday, but this is a normal school day for secondary students, grades 6th-12th. Please direct questions to the appropriate school.

March 13, 2025 Good Morning Tonopah School Families, Tonopah Schools will be releasing all students for the day at 12:45PM due to the weather. By releasing at this time it will allow us to feed all of our students, coordinate buses and transport our students home safely. If you would like to come to the school and pick up your kids early please make sure to check them out through the main offices. Our students' safety is our top priority. Thursday, March 6, 2025 Good Morning Tonopah School Families, With the snow we accumulated last night and the strong north winds, the roads in Tonopah, especially Main Street are VERY slick and the backroads have not yet been cleared. We need time for the plows to provide salt and sand on the roads for the safety of you and our buses. We also need time for our custodial teams to clear and salt the sidewalks at the schools. Tonopah Schools will be on a two hour delay this morning. School will start at 10AM. Buses will run starting at 9AM. On a delay we do not provide breakfast. We appreciate your patience and understanding!!

New invitations to register with our new communication platform, Rooms, will be starting again through email and text. More information on Rooms here: https://www.nye.k12.nv.us/article/1962672 PVHS, RCMS, and Round Mountain can now take absence excuses through Rooms. Log into the NCSD App, find the classroom for attendance, and send a message directly to the person in charge of attendance records. They can even reply directly to you if you have attendance questions.

Parents and Guardians, You are receiving invitations through email and text from Apptegy for a new communication service called Rooms. Please accept the invitation even if your school is not yet using Rooms. Every school has a published classroom with a bit more information, so once you are set up, you can see what it looks like. PVHS, RCMS, Pathways, Beatty, Amargosa, Round Mountain, and Gabbs have all started to use Rooms with their teachers. We'll be expanding to more schools next year. The service works through the NCSD App, and once you are signed up, you will automatically be connected to your school and students' teachers each year. It's a one-time registration.
