The safety and well-being of our students is our highest priority. I am writing to inform you that Tonopah Middle & High School implemented a precautionary Stay-Put procedure today due to a student medical
episode.
During this protocol, any outside activities are moved inside and no students or staff are allowed outside the building. Classroom instruction continues as normal, but hallway traffic is limited. This ensures that medical personnel have unhindered access to the campus.
We understand that emergency procedures can be concerning, but please be assured we are following all district safety protocols to provide the best care for our students.
We will provide further updates as they become available. Thank you for your continued support of our school and students.

You may also see fire trucks or emegency vehicles in conjunction with the Tonopah Volunteer Fire Department on campus as part of the testing. Please do NOT be alarmed, this is just in preperation for the new schools fire system. Please feel free to call with any questions.

On Tuesday, October 28th Mrs. Jeffrey and Mrs. Maslach will be hosting an open parent night regarding Edmentum (our online English and Math program) in the library as well as a Middle School parent promotional and academic success evening for middle school families in the auditorium. This will begin at 6PM. We hope to see you there!

would like to extend a sincere thank you to NV Energy and the Tonopah Fire Department for
their support at the Tonopah High School football field.
With their time, equipment, and willingness to help, we were able to replace the burnt-out stadium
lights, which were far too high for us to safely reach on our own. Their teamwork and continued support
make a big difference, and we truly appreciate their readiness to step in whenever they are available.
Thanks again for helping us keep the field lit and ready for game nights!

This is a reminder that there is no school this Thursday, August 28th for Teacher In-Service and Monday, September 1st for Labor Day! We will see your students on Tuesday, September 2nd.
